Electrocardiogram (ECG)
There are no significant risks. However, temporary discomfort or skin irritation may occur at the site where the electrodes are attached.

There is a very small exposure to radiation. This test cannot be performed on pregnant patients.

There are generally no risks.

Ultrasound Examination
There is no radiation exposure, and the test is considered safe. However, you may feel mild discomfort due to maintaining certain positions or pressure from the probe.

There is a small amount of radiation exposure. When contrast agents are used, there is a rare possibility of allergic reactions or effects on kidney function. This test cannot be performed on pregnant patients.

Gastroscopy
After the examination, you may temporarily experience throat discomfort or nausea. Rarely, complications such as bleeding or perforation may occur.

Gastroscopy with Sedation
In addition to the above risks, intravenous sedatives may cause respiratory depression or allergic reactions. Temporary drowsiness or dizziness may remain after the examination.

Doctors can assist in English. However, some doctors and reception staff only communicate in
Japanese, so you can communicate using translation tools.

Do you treat children ?
Our clinic does not have a pediatric department ( for patients aged 15 years and under ) and
is unable to provide appropriate medical care for children. Therefore, we are unable to treat children. If you
or your child requires pediatric care, please consult a medical institution specializing in pediatrics.
